One double whammy with this applies to many Ducatis, BMWs, Triumphs, MV Agustas, Honda VFRs etc, that have hollow rear axles: If the hole through the axle is big enough to take a broomhandle, it'll probably be perfect for the Anti-Pinch Pin and you then get the advantage of basically preventing the rear axle and thereby the whole swingarm being removed and you can use a shorter chain, which is cheaper. (The swingarm is much harder to take off than a wheel, requiring the engine to be removed first on many bikes!) Hence we are offering a combined package that gives better security and at a great price!

The anti-pinch pin helps you to use 16mm/19mm chains on bikes that are too 'tight' to pass them through the frame? It's all very well having a decent lock, chain and ground anchor, but if you just loop the chain through the wheel of the bike then it has a huge loophole that thieves can exploit. And unbolting a wheel is quiet. OK, they don't get the whole bike, but it's still an attractive option for a thief as most stolen bikes are broken for spares. We undersdtand that a lot of Anti-Pinch Pins have been sold to bikers using an Almax 19mm chain as it's a rather flawed approach when you can't put the chain through anything solid.

Remember, the harder it looks to steal the less likely thieves are to attempt to nick it, even if they try and fail could cause damage to your pride and joy so making your bike security clearly visible and secure is half the battle.
