Alpinestars S-MX Plus Boots Key Features;

• Built-in Safety Performance - Internal patented Ankle Brace with shock absorbing material prevents over-extension of the ankle and protects against impacts.
• All-round Protection - Contoured shin plate protector injected with high modulus PU for a superior impact and abrasion resistance, while U-shaped calf protector is impact resistant and protects the internal/external ankle and rear calf areas. Additional protection is provided by the top recessed buckle structure. The S-MX Plus boot is CE certified.
• Impact Absorption and Reduced Friction - Asymmetrical heel protection features an external and replaceable impact absorbing plate and slider to allow the boot to slide and absorb impacts during falls.

Very comfortable and stylsh as you'd expect from Alpinestars, comfortably fit over a regular pair of jeans. Takes a little getting used to using the gear lever as you seem to lose some sense of feeling but you soon get used to them. Once fitted these boots are incredible and feel extremely comfortable.

Not overly-keen on the side-zip, which isn't terribly easy to use and suspect use over time might cause some issues. Although after a few uses it does break in and becomes easier to use. After all they are a race boot with excellent protection with a soft and plush lining, you'll do well to find a pair of motorcycle boots that look this good and fit so well.
