As temperatures fall close to freezing the body restricts blood flow to the extremities (hands, feet and head) in order to maintain core temperature, so hands tend to feel the cold first. SoftShell fabric covering the back of the hand and, just as importantly, the finger tips, blocks out wind chill, preventing cold air from getting in. Excellent gloves for the colder days but much like many other under gloves, you do lose some sensitivity with a paid of gloves on top. |
