| An unbeatable record of an outstanding year for British sidecar racers! Follow Dixon and Hetherington’s path to victory as they blast their way through all seven rounds of the World Championship season right up to the final clincher at Catalunya. Along the way the drama is underscored by superb performances from the Brindley brothers, a last-minute comeback for four-times champ Steve Webster and the usual high calibre competition from seven-times World Champion Rolf Biland. These official highlights feature the best action from Europe’s most challenging circuits including Nurburgring, Assen, Le Mans and Donington, plus exclusive interviews with all the main competitors.
You can beat sidecar racing for entertainment, sadly it doesn get the coverage it deserves though and is largely uncovered by the motorcycle press, making it difficult for racers to make it pay so congratulations to Duke for raising the profile. Excellent documentary from the early 1980s, plenty of action and interviews.
Running time = 57 minutes. Shame there wasn more racing action though, you could try the 1995 World Sidecar review from Duke, hopefully there will be more sidecar titles published in the future, incluinding a Steve Webster tribute!
