Sartso Passes Abrasion Test EN13595-1
Sartso have exceeded the abrasion test requirements of EN13595 - 1, the test used to determine the CE Abrasion standards. With a smashing 4.4 Seconds.
Abrasion resistance is a very important part of the Kevlar safety jean but so is the burst strength of Kevlar as well. The reason why burst strength is so important is that on occassions, in low speed accidents, knitted Kevlar have been known to pop open and therefore exposing the skin to abrasion.
That is why Sartso has made sure that the military grade Kevlar weave that it developed with DuPont Asia has both of these qualities.
