This back protector has been upgraded for 2009 with a new white look, which does look good, it fits snugly and can also be inserted into an Alpinestars one-piece suit and is also very light. Being so light it is surprising how much force it can take, as demonstrated in the impact tests.  The adjustable velcro waist strap secures it nicely and is easily adjustable to suit the rider.
