Named after the world’s first purpose-built motor racing circuit, the Brooklands leather jacket from Weise is a classically styled garment manufactured from full grain nappa leather, which is chrome-tanned for an extremely soft and supple finish. With parallel stone coloured stripes running across the chest, padded and ribbed panels at shoulders and an external breast pocket, the Brooklands jacket has a timeless appearance that would not have looked out of place during the glory days of Brooklands in the 1930’s.
To fit in with the styling, all zippers are matt chrome items manufactured by YKK for greater reliability. The collar and cuffs are fastened by poppers, rather than modern Velcro, as are the adjustors at the waist.
Inside the Brooklands jacket is an easily accessible wallet pocket, just behind the central zipper, and a 60-gram thermal quilted lining, which is detachable. CE approved armour at the shoulders, elbows and in the back provides impact protection and reassurance.Completing the package is a 6-inch zipper that enables the Brooklands jacket to be attached to any Weise jeans.
Classic sytling with a modern feel, you cannot beat the feel and smell of leather. It feels very well made, has three useful exterior pockets and one inside, removable lining for summer riding and zip to attach to a paid of jeans. Weise\'s target audience has always been the classic bike-type and this jacket is no exception, real quality. Knox CE approved armour in the back and elbows providing excellent protection. This jacket will appeal to both young and old, an excellent buy. Also suitable for wearing as a casual jacket.
