 | Start at the back. Nice shape to the rear section with it’s sharp angles, tidy no. plate holder, and a standard, colour coded tail tidy/under tray. Nice. The brake works well and the swing arm and chassis look good.

 | I must admit I never really got on very well with the older ZX-6/636R due to its size. It was a little bulky around the tank and seat area and moving around on it was difficult.

 | Kawasaki\'s intent with this bike was a not so subtle dig at Suzuki\'s Hayabusa. That\'s it, plain and simple - a 1400cc middle finger indeed.

 | I was totally hoodwinked here, after getting an invite to ride the 2006 Kawasaki ZX10R at the USA press intro, my first reaction was to check my review of the first 2004 rendition. I really liked that bike then and I didn\'t mind writing about it.
