Supercross Spectacular and Off-Road
Zone Add Dirt to the International Motorcycle and
Scooter Show
27th April 2009
An exciting new Off-Road Zone, complete
with two rounds of the Future West ACU British Supercross
Championships, has now been announced by MCI Exhibitions
Ltd, organisers of The Carole Nash International Motorcycle
and Scooter Show. The new Zone situated in Hall 5
will be accommodated by once again increasing the
size of the long established Carole Nash NEC Bike
Show and will be dedicated to the very best from the
off-road world, including new bikes, top riders, clothing,
aftermarket products and clubs.
The diverse markets of Motocross, Enduro, Trials
and Supermoto will all be represented and with exhibitors
able to meet in excess of 60,000* visitors, interest
in getting involved has been extremely high. Independent
research carried out at last year’s Show revealed
that large numbers of show-goers wanted more off-road
content, whilst manufacturers and exhibitors from
other events expressed an interest in expanding their
market to a wider fan base - at one all encompassing
show.
The 2009 Show will be backed up by a number of exciting
features, the newest and most exciting of which will
be two rounds of the Future West ACU British Supercross
Championship. Supercross will bring the excitement
and energy of motocross into a spectator friendly
indoor environment, attracting some of the world’s
best riders. The ACU sanctioned events will take place
on the evenings of Saturday 28th November and Saturday
5th December with day-time displays taking place throughout
the open period of the 10 day Show.
The organisers believe that the introduction of this
Off-Road zone into the existing NEC show offers fantastic
value for money for regular show goers, Off-Road fans
and exhibitors alike.
The Carole Nash International Motorcycle & Scooter
Show 2009 takes place between 26th November and 6th
December at the NEC, Birmingham, and the Off-Road
Zone will be open for the first four days, although
some exhibitors may choose to exhibit for the full
duration. Thursday 26th November is Press and Trade
Day whilst Friday 27th is Preview Day, where all activities,
including the 20 minute Supercross displays are free
of charge. Off-Road exhibitors and feature line-ups
will be announced shortly. For more information visit

Show this will give Future West an opportunity to
showcase Supercross to a wide range of motorcycle
