Add More Kudos to the Carole Nash International Motorcycle
and Scooter Show
18th November 2009
The
Carole Nash International Motorcycle & Scooter
Show will play host to the UK launches of the Can-Am
Spyder RT roadster, the all new Cectek King Cobra
endurance quad and innovative Knox Protection Hand
Armour. With so many high profile product launches
dominating the Show which takes place from the 27th
November – 6th December at the NEC Birmingham,
the addition of Spyder, Cectek and Knox further enhance
the Show’s reputation as the Showcase event
for the latest bike products.
The all new Cectek King Cobra is the ultimate endurance
quad bike, allowing you to ride by road to get you
to where you want to play off road! Powered by a 500cc
fuel injected engine, features include front &
rear independent dual A-Arm suspension, a massive
220mm of suspension travel and disc brakes all round,
making it a truly all terrain vehicle.
Jamie Masterman, Cectek UK Ltd said: “The Cectek
King Cobra is a really exciting bike and we believe
that visitors to the Show will be as enthusiastic
about this multi-purpose endurance bike as we are.”
Impact protection specialists Knox, will be using
the Show as the platform to showcase their latest
Hand Armour collection to British riders. Featuring
a host of patented innovations, Knox Hand Armour looks
radically different to existing motorcycle gloves
and this British technology is set to take glove design
to the next level for the future.
Geoff Travell Managing Director of Knox added: We
believe that glove design in the market has been quite
limited for some years and so following on from the
success of the Scaphoid protection system we have
developed other new systems for the hand. The result
is the Hand Armour Collection. We believe the Show
is the perfect opportunity to unveil the new collection
given the wide cross-section of riders and racers
who would all benefit from this product.”
The Carole Nash NEC Bike Show caters for all rider
styles. For those visitors who bridge the worlds of
sport and touring the Can-Am Spyder RT roadster will
be the must-see feature.
Created by Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP)
who are world leaders in the design, development and
manufacturing of motorised recreational vehicles,
the innovative three-wheel concept has become a global
phenomenon in more than 50 countries and will be available
for trial at all authorised BRP Can-Am Spyder dealerships.
Chris Dawson, Vice President and General Manager
of BRP, commented: “The new platform goes well
with what touring riders now demand and there is no
doubt in my mind that the Can-Am Spyder RT is forever
going to change the touring motorcycle category."
Maria Whitlock, Marketing Advisor of BRP UK, added:
" We cannot think of a better place than the
NEC Bikeshow to highlight this.”
Finlay McAllan, Managing Director of MCIE, added:
“Despite the current economic challenges facing
the motorcycle industry, the number of bike and accessory
brands who have continued to develop innovative and
unique products is hugely promising. We are thrilled
that the Show will be the first opportunity for the
UK public to witness them.”
