James Toseland and Cal Crutchole to Visit the Carole Nash International Motorcycle and Scooter Show on Thursday

Barry Johnson explains riding techniquesDouble World Superbike Champion James Toseland and 2009 Supersport World Champion Cal Crutchlow will headline Yamaha’s ‘Racer’s Day’ this Thursday 3rd December at The Carole Nash International Motorcycle and Scooter Show which runs until 6th December at the NEC in Birmingham.

It will be a rare opportunity for visitors to meet, receive autographs and chat about next season’s challenges with the two current biggest names in motorcycle racing from British shores. With arguably the biggest fan base of any British rider since Barry Sheene’s heyday, Toseland will delight his fans on Thursday at the dazzling Yamaha stand which is currently showcasing an awesome line-up of bikes including the YZF-R1 - probably the most written about superbike in 2009 - plus the XJ6 Diversion F and Toseland’s very own YZR-M1.

For your chance to meet an icon of modern motorcycle racing, visit the Yamaha stand in Hall 1 at 12.00 and 16.00. In addition, listen to Toseland being interviewed by the legendary Steve Parrish on the Black Horse Stage at 13.00.

Coventry born local hero and current Supersport World Champion Cal Crutchlow will also be making a guest appearance at the Show and can be found on the Yamaha stand in Hall 1 at 11.00 and 15.00 where he will be meeting fans and signing autographs

The Carole Nash NEC Bike Show traditionally hosts some of the greatest racers in the world - MotoGP star Marco Melandri attended the Show today much to the crowd’s delight and was seen signing autographs and mingling with visitors whilst admiring all the new 2010 models. Other racers to have attended the Show since it opened its doors last Friday include Troy Corser, Leon Haslam, Chris Walker, 2009 British Superbike Champion Leon Camier and current MotoGP star Bradley Smith.

This year’s Show has an overwhelming amount of entertainment to ensure every visitor’s day is action packed from start to finish. You can get hands-on with the all new Indoor Off Road Experience giving more visitors the opportunity to take in the thrill of riding the Show’s purpose built Supercross Arena! Visit the Suzuki Indoor Off Road Zone in Hall 4 and then watch stunning displays at the thrilling new live action arena, the Bikelight Zone. Visitors to the Show will have a chance to enjoy all this plus check out all the latest model launches from many of the world’s major bike manufacturers.
