to Visit the Carole Nash International Motorcycle
and Scooter Show on Thursday
1st December 2009
Double
World Superbike Champion James Toseland and 2009 Supersport
World Champion Cal Crutchlow will headline Yamaha’s
‘Racer’s Day’ this Thursday 3rd
December at The Carole Nash International Motorcycle
and Scooter Show which runs until 6th December at
the NEC in Birmingham.
It will be a rare opportunity for visitors to meet,
receive autographs and chat about next season’s
challenges with the two current biggest names in motorcycle
racing from British shores. With arguably the biggest
fan base of any British rider since Barry Sheene’s
heyday, Toseland will delight his fans on Thursday
at the dazzling Yamaha stand which is currently showcasing
an awesome line-up of bikes including the YZF-R1 -
probably the most written about superbike in 2009
- plus the XJ6 Diversion F and Toseland’s very
own YZR-M1.
For your chance to meet an icon of modern motorcycle
racing, visit the Yamaha stand in Hall 1 at 12.00
and 16.00. In addition, listen to Toseland being interviewed
by the legendary Steve Parrish on the Black Horse
Stage at 13.00.
Coventry born local hero and current Supersport World
Champion Cal Crutchlow will also be making a guest
appearance at the Show and can be found on the Yamaha
stand in Hall 1 at 11.00 and 15.00 where he will be
meeting fans and signing autographs
The Carole Nash NEC Bike Show traditionally hosts
some of the greatest racers in the world - MotoGP
star Marco Melandri attended the Show today much to
the crowd’s delight and was seen signing autographs
and mingling with visitors whilst admiring all the
new 2010 models. Other racers to have attended the
Show since it opened its doors last Friday include
Troy Corser, Leon Haslam, Chris Walker, 2009 British
Superbike Champion Leon Camier and current MotoGP
star Bradley Smith.
This year’s Show has an overwhelming amount
of entertainment to ensure every visitor’s day
is action packed from start to finish. You can get
hands-on with the all new Indoor Off Road Experience
giving more visitors the opportunity to take in the
thrill of riding the Show’s purpose built Supercross
Arena! Visit the Suzuki Indoor Off Road Zone in Hall
4 and then watch stunning displays at the thrilling
new live action arena, the Bikelight Zone. Visitors
to the Show will have a chance to enjoy all this plus
