Arai Take Sponsorship of the Carole Nash International Motorcycle and Scooter Show Entertainment Zone Until 2011

25th March 2009

Organisers of The Carole Nash International Motorcycle and Scooter Show are delighted to announce that world renowned helmet manufacturer Arai has committed to sponsor the popular Entertainment Zone for the next three years. The sponsorship announcement is welcomed just one year on from Carole Nash’s high profile four-year deal as title sponsor. The Show continues to gain commitment and stability from both sponsors and exhibitors, serving to secure yet more exciting features, bringing motorcycle enthusiasts all the latest and thrilling spectacles from the two-wheeled industry.

The Show takes place between 27th November – 6th December 2009 at the NEC, Birmingham, where the Arai Entertainment Zone has become a focal point for fans to listen to their favorite riders, watch team launches and the ever popular Question of Bikes quiz- hosted on the Blackhorse Stage. Arai will also be bringing a selection of top biking stars to appear on the stage as part of its ‘Arai Starz’ time slot which regularly draws large crowds.

Additionally, Arai will host an exciting live auction with all profits being donated to Riders for Health, the very worthy charity offering motorcycle transportation for health workers in Africa. More details on the items to be auctioned off will follow shortly.

John Wakefield, Managing Director of Phoenix Distribution, UK importer for Arai, said: ‘We have grabbed hold with both hands the opportunity to ensure that the Arai Entertainment Zone will remain a part of the Show for at least the next three years, despite the current economic climate. The Show is the perfect platform to launch next season’s new helmet ranges and meet up with new and existing Arai consumers to give advice and support. We are already looking forward to working with Finlay and his team again to produce another great event’.

Finlay McAllan, Managing Director of MCI Exhibitions, said; “We’re thrilled to announce Arai as the sponsor of the Entertainment Zone for the next three years. Arai have always been a strong supporter of the Show and their sponsorship represents another welcome step forward in the partnership. Not only do they bring a world class brand to the Show, they put on a great show with high profile riders and exciting activities which are enjoyed by all.
