Rieju Set To Attend NEC Motorcycle
Show
29th October 2009
Spanish
manufacturer Rieju is set to unveil the greatly anticipated,
limited edition, MRT 250 Pro Enduro and the new MRT
450 Pro Enduro at The Carole Nash International Motorcycle
& Scooter Show 27th November – 6th December
2009. Well recognised in the small capacity sector
for their endurance and supermoto racing, the internationally
renowned Show provides the perfect platform for the
launch.
Building on their existing close relationship with
Minarelli Motori (part of the Yamaha motor group),
design engineers from Rieju have had access to some
of the best Japanese engine technology. Furthermore,
a collaboration with enduro specialists Gas Gas means
that Rieju will bring to the market new, top spec
full on road legal enduro bikes.
The new MRT 250 and MRT 450 Yamaha-powered machines
will be available following their exclusive launch
at the NEC Birmingham. Each machine has been tweaked
to provide superior power and torque to the 09 versions
and will be of top level performance specification.
Jamie Masterman, Rieju UK Ltd said: “We are
delighted to have a presence at the Show and can’t
think of a more fitting venue to launch the new 2010
machines. The attention and feedback we have had so
far is very promising, and we cannot wait to gauge
the reaction of the Show’s visitors.”
Finlay McAllan, Managing Director of MCIE added:
“Rieju’s attendance at the Show bolsters
and further highlights our commitment to delivering
a highly credible Off Road Zone. Each new development
and launch announcement generates huge excitement
and we fully intend to continue this momentum until
the Show closes its doors on the 6th December!”
