- Subframe modified to accept an R6
race seat unit and foam seat pad, underseat
gel battery and slightly modified loom
- The rearsets are Yoshimura copies,
good quality attractive rearsets
- The front mudguard has been modfied
with mesh inserts
- The airbox has mesh in the intakes
- The undertray is the bottom of the
original fairing with slight modification
to the front of it
- All the bodywork has been painted
in 'Matt Brown', it looks stunning in
the flesh and has had a lot of my friends
eat their words !!
- The top yoke has had the ignition
removed and KTM risers and Fat bars
added
- All the cast bits of the frame, swing
arm and yokes have been painted black
and distressed, a bit like stone washed
jeans
- The forks, machined parts of the frame
and swing arm have been professionally
wrapped in vinyl, this really does have
to be seen to be believed
- The levers are black shortie Pazzo's
with red adjusters

The bike is a 2002 Hornet 600, with a
custom 'body kit' comprising of sidepanels/tailpiece,
undertray, hugger, bellypan, radiator shrouds
and a fairing. And possibly the mudguard.
The rear seat hump removes to reveal a comfortable
dualseat. All modifications were carried
out by a previous owner to a very high standard.
It has an unusual custom twin-pipe stainless
steel exhaust, and the engine cases, footrest
hangers and swingarm have been polished
to match. In the cockpit there has been
added an Acumen gear position indicator,
and a row of leds that rises along with
the revs. |

MB Customs in Pevensy cut the old subframe
and welded it to a 2002/2003 R1 subframe,
which is bolted on, and has the matching
2002/2003 seat unit, pillion seat, rear
light and battery tray. Aftermarket flush
indicators were added to the rear. The riders
seat was cut back, and refurbed to fit against
the fireblade tank.
Adapted yoke with risers and flat bars.
New extended cables, including braided
hoses.
A new 'eagly eye' headlight unit was
put on with mini indicators. Art carbon
fibre frame protectors.
