The new Yourban LT is characterised by its equipment and finishing at the top of the category with mudguards painted to match the bodywork and comes as standard with the roll lock system for the quadrilateral front suspension, which keeps the scooter upright and allows the rider to stop the vehicle briefly without having to put his or her feet down.

Mp3 Yourban LT instantly grabs your attention with its youthful, sporty design: A stylistic balance which joins the spirited front end and the racy rear end together in harmony to create a sleek and light line. With exposed front suspension components and the absolutely innovative forms of the front mudguard, the Mp3 Yourban LT flaunts an unmistakably technological look.

Every component has been studied in its every detail, both aesthetically and from a constructive point of view.

The front view, made unique by the double front tyre, is dominated by the handlebar which integrates the powerful double dome headlight assembly, LED daylight running lights and is crowned by an efficient smoke grey top fairing. At the centre of the shield the brushed finish "necktie" characteristic is evident, a finish which recalls that of the alloy wheel rims and the silencer heat shield. The encircling and protective form of the mudguard in a solid colour to match the bodywork slims out the front view.

A sleek and racy tail corresponds with the spirited front end, which elegantly combines two convenient handles for the passenger and finishes with the modern and painstakingly designed taillight, characterised by daylight running lights and a LED stop light.

The two-colour scheme of the bodywork, with coloured parts alternating with aluminium-look painted inserts blends in with the matching coloured saddle and interiors. The innovative metal-look finish central element running along the vehicle enhances its sleek lines and its muscular, dynamic attitude. The details of the handlebar, the rear shield and the central tunnel, under which the fuel tank cap is concealed, complete the aesthetics of the vehicle.

The Mp3 Yourban LT is not just elegant, it is also comfortable, functional and equipped with a comprehensive array of creature comforts and state of the art technological solutions.

The saddle, with seating on two separate levels, integrates a comfortable rear support for the driver and is shaped in such a way as to allow for easy and safe reach to the ground and to ensure an extremely high level of comfort. The finish is also available in various colour schemes, co-ordinated with the colouring of the internal embossing. The generously spacious helmet compartment provides comfortable space for two jet helmets with visor or alternatively a laptop bag. A practical and discrete concealed bag hook finds a place integrated into the leg shield back plate.

Exhaustive, easy to read instruments with sophisticated pale blue lighting offer full information ready at a glance. The instrument panel is comprised of three circular elements (speedometer, water temperature and fuel level), a modern LCD display with odometer, digital clock, battery voltage and external temperature functions as well as a series of warning lights dedicated to the fuel reserve, high-beam, turn indicator, oil pressure, hazard and injection system check. There are also warning lights for characterising Mp3 features such as the roll lock system, lock system fault and engagement of the parking brake.

On the road: a different Mp3

From a dynamic perspective, the reduced weight (an incredible 16 Kg less than the current LT 300 cc version of the MP3) is clearly perceptible in both unpowered manoeuvres (the vehicle is easier to push) and on the move (the vehicle is more agile and responsive). This sensation of greater agility is even more evident on the move and especially during low speed manoeuvres, such as slaloms and rapid directional changes.

When steering and leaning into curves, the vehicle has a natural self-centring effect almost as immediate as that of a conventional 2-wheeler scooter - but with the huge advantage in terms of grip offered by the dual front tyres. All of this equates to improved rideability: more nimble and more responsive to steering input, this is the perfect vehicle for slaloming through city traffic. The Yourban LT leans more rapidly into bends, remaining stable throughout the entire curve, even with the throttle pinned wide open.

The ideal riding position: while more compact in appearance, the platform is in fact even more comfortable. In addition, its lower position (20 mm lower than on the standard Mp3) offers more space for the rider's legs. The Yourban also features a pair of fold-out footpegs for the passenger which, when stowed, are perfectly flush with the bodywork.
On the move, the front end is more precise and offers even more feedback. The improvement is perceptible even after the first few metres in the saddle: you almost forget that there are two wheels at the front, and instinctively ride it like a normal scooter.

The quadrilateral articulated front suspension system and the double front wheel are unique and distinctive elements which make riding the Piaggio Mp3 an absolutely revolutionary experience, providing the rider with riding stability in curves more than any other scooter, benefiting from excellent road holding which can be felt in all of its importance on wet asphalt or in poor grip conditions.

On the new Piaggio Mp3 Yourban LT, this chassis configuration has been tailored to achieve unrivalled levels of agility and manoeuvrability. With its 13” front wheels (shod with 110/70 rubber), a weight reduction of 16 Kg compared with the similarly engined standard Mp3, and a compact wheelbase of less than 1450 mm, Mp3 Yourban LT responds rapidly to directional changes, leans into bends more eagerly and ensures absolute precision when approaching a bend and throughout the bend itself; characteristics which make it extremely efficient in city and metropolitan riding where, thanks to its double front wheel, it has no rivals in terms of active security: cobblestones, poor surfaces, tramlines and manhole covers are dispatched with ease and in complete safety. On the LT version the distance between the two front wheels was increased to 45mm in order to meet the 465mm required for this particular approval category.

The compact dimensions and agility of the Piaggio Mp3 Yourban LT also make parking and manoeuvring from a standstill extremely simple, even for female riders; also to the credit of the electric-hydraulic suspension block system which allows parking without the need for a stand support, offered as standard.

Piaggio Mp3 Yourban LT is equipped with a 300cc electronic injection, single-cylinder engine which provides maximum power of 22.8 CV at 7750 rpm and a maximum torque of 24 Nm at only 5750 rpm: With such specs comes a throttle response to match, coupled with feisty performance, making it ideal both for tackling congested town traffic and for mid-range touring in full comfort, whether riding solo or two-up.
