2010 Triumph Bonneville and SE

Bonneville. Probably the most famous
name in motorcycling. A legend. An icon.
The latest Triumph Bonnevilles represent
more than 50 years of engineering excellence, a thoroughly
modern interpretation of a ‘proper’ motorcycle
that is even more accessible thanks to its low and
narrow seat, clean and efficient fuelinjected engine
and lightweight 17 inch wheels for even sharper handling.
The 2010 Bonneville has an authentic
Seventies vibe, with cast alloy wheels front and rear,
short mudguards and stylish megaphone silencers. The
low, narrow seat gives a low centre of gravity for
excellent manoeuvrability, while the handlebars are
positioned for a relaxed ride. Complementing the clean
lines are
timeless black or white colour options. The 2010 Bonnevilles
also benefit from updated instrumentation, with digital
odometer and a cleaner look.
Firing up the modern, fuel-injected,
air-cooled 865cc parallel twin lets loose a rich and
unmistakable sound, while twin balancer shafts and
cutting-edge production methods ensure up-to-date
refinement and reliability. Ninety percent of peak
torque – a very healthy 68Nm at 5,800rpm –
is maintained from around 2,500rpm through to the
redline providing smooth, effortless acceleration
throughout the five gears.
A higher-specification Bonneville,
the SE, includes more comprehensive instrumentation,
including a tacho, a chromed tank badge and brushed
alloy engine casings. The SE comes in solid Jet Black
or a classic dual-tone livery combining Pacific Blue
with Fusion White.
