Sachs has unveiled a striking new
‘RS’ version of the Speedjet sports scooter
6th January 2010
With
angular aggressive bodywork and eye-catching black,
white and red livery, complemented by red brake calipers
and matching rear shock absorber, along with 10-spoke
alloy wheels and lightweight alloy footplates the
Speedjet RS looks every inch the racer.
Beneath the sporty bodywork is a responsive 50cc
air-cooled two-stroke engine that, thanks to advanced
manufacturing processes, offers both high performance
and excellent fuel efficiency. A new catalysed sports
exhaust keeps emissions to a minimum too.
Complementing this is a sharp and responsive chassis
package, with a tubular steel frame, telescopic front
forks, adjustable monoshock rear and sport profile
tyres to ensure first class agility and stability.
Wavy disc brakes with hydraulic calipers at the front
and rear offer powerful and controllable braking.
Practicality has also been taken care of with a substantial
underseat storage area, dual function 12V socket for
charging mobile/MP3/sat nav and alloy luggage rack
behind the pillion seat for extra carrying capacity.
The Speedjet RS comes will a full 2 year manufacturer’s
warranty and full after-sales support from a UK dealer
network; Sachs’ British distributor has well
over 30 years experience in the powered two wheeler
market.
The Sachs Speedjet RS is due in UK showrooms from
March 2010 priced £1599. For more information
