State Of The Art
The 'top-of-the-line' Duke was first launched in
2005 – and was an immediate success. Two years
later, it underwent a complete overhaul and has since
been better than ever. The 2010 version of the 990
Super
Duke runs on a 120 HP V2 engine, which combines raw
power with pure rpm-induced exhilaration. Its minimalist
design gives it a total empty tank weight of just
186 kg – ideal for ultimate riding pleasure!
What makes the 990 Super Duke even more impressive
is that it is not only highly dynamic but is also
extremely easy to handle and perfect for everyday
riding. The LC8 engine, the lightweight chrome-molybdenum
steel trellis frame and the high-quality, fully-adjustable
WP chassis components also form an irresistible and
perfectly tailored package that combines functionality
with sportiness. For 2010, the machine is available
in orange and black, black and white and plain black,
as well as in a new, eye-catching camouflage green
version with white frames and an overhauled multifunctional
speedometer with a new dial.
