A Perfect Fusion Of Power, Comfort and Adventure
In 2003, KTM introduced travel-happy riders to the
950 Adventure, the company's first bike designed for
long-distance journeys while also guaranteeing impressive
riding pleasure whatever the terrain. Over the following
years, the Mattighofen team gradually optimised the
motorcycle and in 2009 they launched the 990 Adventure
as the latest version of the LC8 top seller –
with more power and less engine vibration. The current
version of the dynamic V2 generates 106 HP and 100
Nm – ideal conditions for burning
up the miles on a sporty machine. The rigid trellis
frame, the fully adjustable suspension elements on
the front and rear and the powerful brake system with
a disengageable anti-blocking system are as ideally
suited
for short trips as for long distances. The bike's
functional extras include a practical storage compartment,
an immobiliser, hazard warning lights and an on-board
plug socket.
