KTM can quite rightly claim that it 'discovered' the Supermoto range. The Mattighofen team also embarked upon a path of their own with the current single-cylinder generation and have been setting the bar
in the segment with the 690 SM since the 2007 model year. The individualistic machine offers riders performance, speed, dynamics and agility in their purest form.

It's no wonder as the design combines an extremely low weight with maximum power, thus guaranteeing pure riding pleasure on almost any terrain. The carefully and extensively tuned engine management and the ingenious sound dampening help the 690 SM generate the road-approved and highly nifty 63 HP. For 2010, KTM has given the bike new, attractive paintwork and a new speedometer dial. With its seat height lowered by 40 mm, the 690 SM Limited also makes it easier to access the world of KTM LC4.
