Hard Enduro and All-Ronder
Millions of kilometres off-road and countless tough
competitions have given KTM an invaluable pool of
experience upon which to base the 690 Enduro. This
machine from the LC4 family offers everything that
true fans want from a state-of-the-art hard Enduro
– and a few extras as well: since its debut
in the 2008 model year, the bike has been exciting
Enduro lovers around the world who want a motorcycle
that is also
perfectly suited to normal everyday riding.
Why? The light-weight 690 Enduro perfectly masters
both brutal off-road terrain and long trips along
paved roads. The broad range of riding options is
not least attributable to the bike's ultra-modern
and carefully designed LC4 engine, which is both lightweight
and compact. With 46 kW/62 HP, the power output is
extremely impressive. The engine is embedded in an
extremely rigid steel trellis frame and the wheels
are driven by fully adjustable WP suspension components
and decelerated by a powerful Brembo brake
system. The 2010 model of the 690 Enduro has new,
highly attractive paintwork and an overhauled multi-functional
speedometer.
