MX1 Racer For Winners - Made In Austria
In the 2009 MX1 world championship, German KTM factory
rider Max Nagl clearly demonstrated the 450 SX-F's
potential. While always able to rely on the machine's
powerful thrust at the start lines, at the
end of the 2009 season, Nagl's title as vice world
champion was clear evidence of the consistently impressive
performance of both the rider and his machine. The
team's success was largely attributable to the close
cooperation between Stefan Everts, multiple champion
and KTM team manager, and the riders and their
motorcycles. In 2010, the enhancements devised are
going straight into the series models. The 10 mm higher
steering head creates a lower centre of gravity and
thus easier handling plus excellent front wheel responsiveness.
A new 5-speed gearbox, reinforced pistons and clutch
basket, optimised carburettor calibration and all
the other modifications to the KTM Motocross 2010
model enable the 450 SX-F to once
again be a true contender in 2010.
