Harley-Davidson UK and Ireland appoints Carole Nash for insurance services

Motorcycle insurance provided direct by Harley-Davidson Insurance Services will be provided by the UK and Ireland’s biggest motorcycle insurance specialist, following the appointment of Carole Nash on 1 January 2010. This is the start of a three-year contract to broker motorcycle insurance across the UK and Ireland on behalf of Harley-Davidson Financial Services (HDFS), which accounts for some 7,500 policies.

Existing policyholders are being contacted by HDFS to advise them of the change of insurance provider. They, along with new policyholders will benefit from Carole Nash’s pledge to enhance the policy offering with items such as UK and European breakdown insurance as standard and up to £50,000 or €75,000 motorcycle legal protection. Existing benefits, such as agreed value and inclusion of ‘helmets and leather’ cover for motorcycle riding accessories, will also be maintained by the dedicated Harley-Davidson section within Carole Nash.

Bikers acquiring new and secondhand motorcycles from one of the 34 authorised Harley-Davidson UK and Ireland dealers will automatically be advised of the new Harley-Davidson Insurance Services.
