2010 Aprilia RS50
The Aprilia RS 50 is a genuine sports
bike for budding young riders. An “entry level”
that is the epitome of Aprilia's winning sports DNA
and technology of the 2 stroke motorbikes that are
dominating the World Motorcycling Championship. Aprilia
RS 50 offers a fourteen-year old rider access to class
beating technological solutions: aluminium frame and
swingarm, lightweight wheels with split spokes, radial
front brake calliper, 2-stroke engine and analogue/digital
instruments worthy of a much larger engined motorcycle.
The newly launched styling variant boasts aggressive,
purposeful graphics dedicated to Max Biaggi and his
motorcycle, which bears the Aprilia banner in the
SBK world championship.
The world of "small" motorbikes
has elected the Aprilia RS 50 as its point of reference
for years. A true sports bike with technical content
worthy of the World Motorcycling Championship.
Its captivating and definitely racing
design with faceted and aggressive lines places emphasis
on a 50 cc supersports motorbike born to combine riding
pleasure with outstanding performance:
- aluminium frame and swingarm
- lightened wheels with Y-design spokes
- front radial brake calliper
- Euro 2 two stroke engine
- analogue-digital instrument panel
Added to this are essential details that give the
Aprilia RS 50 components worthy of a motorbike equipped
with a bigger engine capacity: aluminium gear and
brake levers, aluminium footrest supports, raised
silencer and radial tubeless tyres.
A dashboard much more sophisticated than a simple
instrument panel completes the rich standard equipment.
The compact analogue-digital system serves as a real
on-board computer, and in addition to the classic
indications also offers a built-in chronometer that
lets novice riders record their best times on the
track.
