Classic Collection

Triumph’s 2009 clothing range sees a vastly increased range of classically-styled jackets for men and women.

Each garment has been individually designed to complement Triumph’s Modern Classics range of motorcycles. As with the bikes themselves, the garments combine classic styling the latest materials and production techniques.

The range covers both leather and textile products, in male and female cuts, and are available exclusively from official Triumph dealerships.

New products in the range include:

Lawford jacket

Constructed using 1mm antique brown leather, the Lawford jacket has a contemporary and individual style thanks to the use of hide has an aged effect that will continue to wear and take on its own unique look.
A multi pocket design is combined with a slightly longer cut and a funnel neck. The left arm logo detail is laser etched, while the lower back logo has a triple stitch finish. Inside the jacket is a removable aluminium vest liner with a camouflage print.

The jacket also contains shoulder and elbow CE approved Knox armour with a pocket for a back protector. Major seams are also double impact stitched for additional protection.

Lennox jacket

This rugged jacket uses antiqued leather with a multi patch design. The new patches developed for this season give the jacket an individual style while the back distressed logo print finishes the jacket off perfectly.
Raw cut leather detailing on the should and collar give the jacket an aged look while inside you will find a special edition print to the inside lining, depicting the ‘rock and roll’ styling of the garment.

Side seam adjustments are added to this jacket to give the rider greater comfort and fit. CE approved Knox armour inserts are also added to the shoulder & elbow.

Stockwell jacket

Stockwell is a new riding jacket with an authentic style that only Triumph can carry off with authority. The Stockwell is constructed from soft textured 1mm leather which is soft to the touch but makes no compromises when it comes to abrasion resistance. The black main body colour is complemented by the ‘dirty’ beige shoulder and chest detailing, with a prominent Triumph logo on the chest, and an additional shoulder patch, showing just where the wearer’s allegiances lie. The ‘dirty’ beige leather sections have been
designed specifically to look worn and ensure that no two jackets will be absolutely identical.

Side seam adjustment panels, impact seam stitching and CE Knox armour are standard on this highly-specified jacket, with arm, chest and hidden back ventilation panels allowing air to flow through the jacket in warm conditions, while the aluminium vest liner can also be removed in the summer months.

Balfour jacket

The traditionally-styled Balfour Jacket is manufactured using 500 denier Cordura with a water repellent outer fabric and PU coating.

The jacket also contains hidden ventilation panels, side seam adjustments and a removable quilted lining, adding to the functionality.

The large Triumph logo on the back is complemented by the chest patch branding. Adding substance to this style is built-in Knox body armour.

Newham jacket

Triumph’s Newham textile jacket takes its influence from classic racing jacket worn by Steve McQueen in the film ‘Le Mans’ and gives it a unique twist. The chest and arm stripes, union flag chest patch and large back leather Triumph logo are applied to a 1000 denier nylon outer fabric, giving it a substantial yet stylish quality. Removable CE Knox shoulder and elbow armour give the rider added protection and side seam adjustment panels help ensure an ideal fit both on and off the bike.

Mara jacket

This new edition to the ladies’ riding wear range complements the men’s Stockwell jacket, but has its own individual style. The Mara features the same ‘dirty’ beige leather, giving each jacket its own style, while small silicone embossed chest and back logos complete the classic look.

Side waist adjustment, ventilation panels and a removable aluminium vest liner are added for maximum comfort, with as CE Knox armour providing the protection.

First taste of triumph

Triumph has introduced a versatile new range of motorcycle clothing to suit riders of all backgrounds and experiences.

Ideal for those who are new or returning to motorcycling, daily commuters or simply those who like top-quality with no frills, this entry range products offers a no-nonsense range of clothing made with the same high quality of fabrics and production techniques as the existing Triumph clothing range. As you would expect from a Triumph product, high quality fabrics and production techniques bring products that do everything a modern day rider needs, with no compromise being made on the quality and finish of the garments.

Balham jacket

The Balham Leather Jacket is a classic black leather jacket for the rider who wants to keep it simple. The jacket is manufactured using 1.2mm high quality cowhide with multiple and functional pockets. An action back gives it plenty of movement while the straight fitting style gives plenty of on or off bike comfort.

Retailing at just £180, the jacket comes equipped with Knox CE approved protectors and a pocket for a back insert. Subtle details like the side seam adjustment gives additional riding comfort, while the grey Triumph chest logo and union flag zip closure finish the authentic look.

Acton jacket, jeans and gloves

With a combined RRP of just £230, Triumph’s Acton jeans, jacket and gloves offer incredible value for motorcyclists looking for high quality everyday riding gear.

Available in men and ladies’ versions, the Acton range is especially suitable for winter riding and all-weather touring. The jacket (RRP £110) is constructed from 600 denier Polycordura water repellent outer fabric and includes a removable quilted liner, CE-approved Knox protectors on the elbow and shoulder, and sleeve width adjusters.

The TriTex membrane has been developed to give excellent waterproofing, breathability and windproofing.

Enhancing rider protection are reflective logos on the chest and back.

The matching Acton Jeans (RRP £90) also feature the TriTex membrane, 600 denier Polycordura fabric and CE knee protectors. Two leg lengths are also available (30 Inch or 33 Inch Inseam). Ankle to lower thigh zippers also allow for easy use.

Finally, the Acton Gloves (RRP £30) offers the complete touring, all weather package. The TriTex waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane is placed under the Polycordura water repellent outer fabric. A hard knuckle panel is applied along with nonslip grip palm and finger panels.

A draw cord on the hem of the glove allows the wearer to tighten the gloves and prevent water ingress while the wrist restraint can be adjusted for a perfect fit.

Cruisers 2009

Triumph Clothing has updated its cruiser products for 2009 with the addition of two exciting new jackets and a new style of jeans.

T’Bird jacket

T’Bird is a classic cruiser jacket, echoing the Brando style with its iconic double collar construction.
One of the key new developments is a revised fit that comes as a result of extensive market research among cruiser riders. Known as the Comfort Fit, the T’Bird has been cut with wider shoulders and has more comfortable arm construction, with more width and a ‘wing’ underarm panel. The body is generously specified with the overall effect perfect for the ergonomics of a laid-back cruiser ride.

Triumph has specified 1.2mm cowhide for the jacket to give a dense, luxurious feel to emphasise the high quality of the product.

Hidden ventilation panels, side seem adjustments, CE protectors and an removable aluminium vest liner complete the package, with silicone embossed arm and back logos are applied to show allegiance to the Triumph brand.

H2Protec jacket and jeans

Triumph has developed one of the most advanced cruiser products on the market. The H2Protec jacket and jeans have been developed to give the cruiser product the one product they will need to all of their riding needs.

When it rains, the waterproof construction will keep the elements out. When the sun shines, the TFL coating reflects sunlight off the black leather, reducing the level of heat absorbed by up to 20 degrees. In addition, the large ventilation panels can be opened up, sending a cool air around the body. And when it is not so warm, the carefully designed thermal lining will keep body heat in.

The H2Protec is constructed using a dense 1.2mm cowhide, luxuriously finished to the touch. Side seam adjustment panels are also added, as are CE protectors. This jacket is also specified with Triumph’s new Comfort Fit, a new cut designed specifically with the cruiser rider in mind.

The lining of the jacket features Triumph branding detail and also has a stretch panels on the underarms. Remove the lining and a number of functional pockets are available. Pockets for a cell phone, sun glasses and MP3 have been designed in to the main lining.

Matching H2Protec Jeans are also available, in two leg lengths. These jeans use the same 1.2mm leather with the TFL coating and are completely waterproof. Knee protectors (CE) are also available, with adjustable knee pockets for the perfect fit.

Ttriumph Casual range – winter 2008

Triumph unveils a new winter collection of exciting casual styles for men, women and children. A mix of vintage, sport and cruiser casuals are available, along with logo and graphic designs, giving all customers the option to wear Triumph.

Whether or not you ride a Triumph doesn’t really matter, this stylish collection combines style and quality. Headlining the range is the second addition to the Steve McQueen official range. Following on from last year’s phenomenally successful Steve McQueen T-shirt, this new shirt features a classic image of the then 33-year-old ‘King of Cool’ riding his beloved Triumph through the Hollywood Hills.

Other products from the range that are sure to be popular are ‘Try Ted’s Triumphs’ which is taken from a 1967 ad placed by Los Angeles Triumph dealer, Ted Lapadakis. ‘Go with the Leader’, is inspired by a 1950’s Triumph ad, while Freedom is a cruiser inspired T-shirt with attitude.

For sports riders, the Street Triple T is a must. The choice is endless. New Hoodies, Shorts and Shirts adorn the range along with products for babies and kids, future enthusiasts of the brand.
