Kawasaki Motors UK reveals 2009 Team
Green line up

Following the announcement of LPE Kawasaki as the
official Team Green supported team for the coming
year, Kawasaki Motors UK is pleased to confirm the
2009 rider line up of the most successful manufacturer
MX initiative in the off-road world.
LPE Kawasaki will be joined in the British MX Championship
by Kawasaki Racing Team’s Gareth Swanepoel.
KMUK has worked alongside KRT to secure the return
of the young South African to compete in the MX1 Class
in one of the most competitive domestic championships.
Joining Swanepoel and the LPE squad of Elliott Banks-
Browne, Daniel Arnold and Jamie Smith will be Team
Green youth riders Michael Eccles, Connor Walkley
and Scot James, Cross country racing activities will
be covered by the experienced and ever popular Ryan
Voase.
Alex Brawn, Racing Co-ordinator for KMUK, underlined
the breadth of talent reflected in the rider line
up for 2009. "We've got a great mix of riders
for the new season and we hope they achieve their
full potential on the latest KX machines. From Connor
and Michael who will be looking for success in the
youth championships to Elliott and Gareth who will
be running at the sharp end of the British MX1 and
MX2 series. Everyone has their goals and are already
fully focused on achieving them.
“I expect all of our riders to be fighting
for podium places right from the start of the season,
as well as making themselves available to Kawasaki
riders and fans at races and events up and down the
UK, in the true spirit of Team Green ".
