Fall for fashion

Harley-Davidson’s 2009 Fall collection of MotorClothes is inspired by “small town living”. The men’s range of clothing and accessories, which includes leather jackets, functional garments and fashion and sportswear lines, uses rich colours, fabrics and textures to provide a classic, comfortable and casual look and feel.

The Deadwood Convertible Leather Jacket makes a real statement in vintage styling. Available in luxurious chocolate brown mid-weight leather, it has zip-off sleeves to create a fashionable gilet. Its two extra long front vertical vents and two large back vents allow cooling during the warmer autumn months, while the built-in handwarmer pockets help to avoid the chill when the weather gets a little colder. The jacket has body armour pockets at elbows to fit lightweight FXRG armour.

The Accelerator Leather Jacket – with Switchback technology – provides ultimate versatility by enabling the rider to be cool when it’s hot and warm when it’s cold. Manufactured in lightweight leather, its leather panels zip-off to reveal a poly mesh body underneath. Pockets at the elbows, shoulders and back fit FXRG lightweight armour, while the padded elbows, waist and reflective piping on the sleeves provide added peace of mind while out on the road.

The Fall collection features a number of functional riding garments including the Custer Functional Jacket with Reversible Warmth Vest, Hi-Reflectivity Functional Jacket and the Junction 3-in-1 Functional Jacket, which are all water resistant to keep the elements at bay. The Junction Functional Pants also contain Guardian Technology for added abrasion resistance.

In addition, the extensive line of casual outerwear and sportswear clothing is designed to appeal to more Harley-Davidson enthusiasts more concerned with fashion than function. The short-sleeved khaki Garage Shirt provides a retro look, while the Zip-off Camouflage Cargo Pants, which convert into shorts, are perfect for the UK’s unpredictable weather.

There are also a number of new men’s accessories available this season including the H-D Skull Belt Buckle, D-Ring Belt, Camouflage Flat Top Cap and reversible Knit Cap.
