Factory accessories for the Moto
Morini Granpasso
28th April 2009
Moto
Morini has made the Granpasso an even more attractive
proposition for adventure riders, with the addition
of a selection of optional extras. One of the most
versatile adventure sport machines on the market,
its 1200cc, 118bhp, liquid-cooled Bialbero CorsaCorta
V-twin engine, Verlicchi steel trellis frame with
Marzocci suspension and Brembo make this the sportiest
of adventure sport bikes.
Offering many more riders the opportunity to experience
the Granpasso is a low seat option, which takes seat
height down from 870mm to 840mm. Shaped to offer support
and comfort, it is also gel padded to offer day-long
comfort. The lowered seat option is available as an
option on all new Granpassos and also as a retro fit
option for £163.42
Maximising carrying capacity is a three piece aluminium
case kit, from Alumix. Specially designed to fit the
Granpasso, the kit consists of left and right 40-litre
cases and a matching 30-litre top case. Constructed
from high grade aluminium, side cases and top box
offer maximum storage capacity and protection for
the owner’s equipment, for minimum weight. Removal
and re-fitting is easy, thanks to quick release mounts
and both cases and box feature water and dust proof
seals, with carry handles for ease of use off the
bike. The top case and rack sell for £525.12,
and the matching side cases for £1177.33 including
racks and fitting kit.
Owners looking for a cost effective and flexible
carrying solution can fit the tailor made rear luggage
rack. Offering an extra convenient platform to carry
extra equipment, the rack also features a quick release
system, so it can be easily removed and stored when
not in use and will also accept Mobiplast and Alumix
top cases. The luggage rack retails at £130.81
Last, but by no means least, is a centre stand kit,
which makes not only parking, but also basic maintenance
a doddle. Constructed in steel, the centre stand retails
for £308.34 and comes complete with a fixing
kit.
