Cinematic Action at the Carole Nash
International Motorcycle and Scooter Show
10th November 2009
A
touch of Hollywood will be brought to this year’s
Carole Nash International Motorcycle and Scooter Show
which takes place from the 27th November – 6th
December when visitors will be able to come face-to-face
with two life-sized T-600 models based on those featured
in the futuristic action epic Terminator Salvation.
Complementing this exclusive addition to the Show,
legendary motorcycle explorer Nick Sanders will also
be making a special appearance to launch his must-see
attraction - the only known 'Motorcycle Cinema' in
existence.
Terminator Salvation - the latest film in the iconic
franchise – is released on Blu-ray Disc™
and DVD on November 23rd from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
The Terminator Salvation theme is the perfect match
for this year’s stunning Show creative –
‘The Man’ – which has been specially
designed to mirror the human form through motorcycle
parts and components and features across all the Show’s
marketing and promotional collateral.
Visitors are also invited to sit alongside inspirational
motorcyclist Nick Sanders in his very own Motorcycle
Cinema to re-live his fascinating tales and experiences
via a montage of video footage chronicling the highlights
of over 15 years touring the globe by motorcycle,
a feat he has accomplished an impressive ten times.
Nick Sanders commented: “With footage of my
R1 crossing of the Bolivian Andes coupled with fantastic
sounds and great visual effects, I hope to be an inspiration
for any Show visitor thinking of embarking on their
own intrepid journey. Anything that helps riders find
their confidence to do their 'own thing' is what this
is all about."
To capture it all, Show organisers have once again
teamed up with Eurosport and renowned bike personalities
Jamie Whitham and Tony Carter who will both front
a special one hour feature programme to profile the
world and UK bike launches from the major manufacturers
as well as the Show’s range of interactive features
and new Off-Road Zone.
Finlay McAllan, Managing Director of MCI Exhibitions,
added: “The addition of the Nick Sanders’
Motorcycle Cinema and exhibits such as the T600 models
on the Sony Pictures Home Entertainment stand, demonstrate
the Show’s commitment to provide the biggest
and best range of entertainment ever seen at the event.”
