2006 Moto Guzzi Breva 1100
Breva 1100 - A naked for the 21st century;
Naked, comfortable alone or with a passenger, and robust as any Moto Guzzi, the Breva 1100 seems designed specifically to apply Carlo Guzzi's idea to the 21st century - to construct a motorcycle for everyone, using technology to guarantee comfort, easy handling, reliability and a long life. All this in an attractive exterior with clean-cut essential lines to create an unmistakable style. The beauty of the Breva 1100 does not conceal, but enhances its technical heart. The shapes of the twin cylinders and Moto Guzzi patented Compact Reactive Shaft Drive (or CA.R.C) make the sides of the motorcycle distinctive. Blending in perfectly with the overall design, the volumes are distributed with dynamic equilibrium, giving the motorcycle a racing nature without being extreme, for a no nonsense motorcycle. The concept transmitted by the look is confirmed by the engine and mechanics. The latest generation 90° V-Twin is a modern engine with formidable torque at low revs, but with fluid linear output thanks to the electronic injection and complying with Euro3 standards. The quality of the engine is matched by the mechanics, developed after painstaking work on the frame and suspension. The result is great responsiveness, accompanied by precision in maintaining trajectories on bends and impeccable road holding when powering out. In short, pure fun on more challenging routes, where the solid 45 mm fork guarantees perfect entry into bends and the fully adjustable monoshock keeps the motorcycle glued to the road when powering out. Safety during stopping is guaranteed by the powerful braking system with two 320mm floating discs at the front and a 282mm disc at the rear.
