The horizon gets nearer faster in the saddle of a
motorcycle whose sporting vocation is already evident
from its colour - the traditional Moto Guzzi red which
has cut through the finishing line in first place
in countless international races and which also appears
on the cylinder head cover and other structural elements.
The lines are clean, essential and highly personal,
with an unmistakeable family feel - and not just because
of the two V heads of the 90° V-Twin.
The rigid steel single spar frame and excellent front
and back Öhlins suspension system keep the V11 Le
Mans Rosso Corsa glued to the road, shadowing each
and every intention of the rider who forms a single
block with the bike. The engine's 1,064 cc thrusts
strongly right from the lowest revs, with the unmistakable
pulsing which has become a trademark of the company.
The three-way catalytic converter with Lambda sensor
keeps emissions down to a minimum, demonstrating that
performance can go hand in hand with respect for the
environment.
Its sporting nature is also clear from certain aesthetic
elements such as the carbon fibre front mudguard or
devices such as the Bitubo steering damper. Protected
by the elegant aerodynamic cockpit fairing, the rider
can tackle even the longest trip without difficulty,
because the V11 Le Mans Rosso Corsa guarantees maximum
comfort even when riding in two. Particular care has
been taken over the instrumentation which is easy
to read in all conditions thanks to the refined black
graphics. The configuration of the bike adapts to
the load carried or preferred riding style, with appropriate
adjustments of preload and the fork and shock absorber
hydraulics.
