2004 Moto Guzzi V11 Cafe Sport
Refined reflections in the gold finish of the
fork inners and front brake calliper, showing
off the austere bronze livery to full advantage
and taken up in the cylinder head cover, wheels
and frame plate. You cannot but admire the V11
Café Sport, with the hints of high tech given
by the carbon fibre surfaces of the front mudguard,
starter motor cover and side panels. An attention
to looks which express the metropolitan leanings
of a versatile bike, self confident and relaxed
on all routes. Merit of the natural non-exaggerated
riding position with raised handlebar and the
great handling, guaranteed by the compact forms
and absence of superstructure, rigidity of the
steel single spar frame and performance of the
Öhlins suspension, adjustable in preload, compression
and rebound.
Riders with a more sporting style will appreciate
the steering damper, another Öhlins component.
Everything you need to face the perils of everyday
traffic, but also hairpin bends in the mountains
and trips with a passenger during the weekend.
The bike is propelled by the evergreen 90° V-Twin
in the version with cross piece linking the
manifolds of the two cylinders and three-way
catalytic converter with Lambda sensor. Two
technical features increasing performance and
reducing emissions, in full compatibility with
Euro 2 standards. Classical and high-tech, city
dweller and adventure lover, solid and elegant,
the V11 Café Sport is a bike with a thousand
faces you can appreciate only by getting on
the saddle.
