Rizla Suzuki has teamed up with Knockhill, the home of Scottish bike racing, to run an exclusive track day at the Fife circuit on June 19th 2007.
If you want to improve your riding skills with some of the best modern day racers and Champions then look no further as former GP star, WSB race winner and four time BSB runner-up Chris Walker, reigning British Supersport Champion Cal Crutchlow and triple British Superbike Champion John Reynolds will be joined by Knockhill's own triple British Superbike Champion and Scottish legend Niall Mackenzie.
The cream-of-the-crop Superbike aces will be the leaders of the four groups (maximum of 25 per group and limited to 100 riders in total) and will be observing riders, imparting their experience and answering any questions with honesty.
The short 1.29-mile-long Knockhill circuit is ideal for honing your track riding skills thanks to a mixture of long straights, fast turns, dramatic changes in elevation and a hairpin.
The day will start with registration at 8am and the first group going on track at 9am. Each group will receive 1 hour 45-minutes track time with their Group Leader. When not riding they will be able to spend time asking questions on riding, racing or life in general.
Included in the bargain price per rider of £175 is free tea and coffee all day long, bacon rolls in the morning and hot dogs at lunch time (vegetarians should advise at least two weeks prior to the event), action photography that will be uploaded to a website for your free high-resolution download without limits, free Rizla Suzuki posters, postcards and stickers, and a presentation for the four riders on the day who impress their group leader the most.
Everyone who buys a place on the track day will automatically be entered into a prize draw to join Rizla Suzuki as a VIP at the seventh round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Knockhill less than two weeks later. The two tickets to the class leading Rizla Suzuki hospitality unit are worth £600 and you'll also receive a pillion ride round the circuit with JR at the controls of a specially modified GSX-R1000.
Promising the highest quality track day experience money can buy, places are limited to 25 per group and will be sold on a first come first served basis. Riders of all abilities are welcome to attend, from complete novice to British or World Superbike level. To ensure a place on the day you are encouraged to book early via www.rizla-suzuki.co.uk/knockhill.
