Britain's best hope of a top flight finish in the 2007 Dakar Rally, Mick Extance is literally selling the shirt off his back in aid of his Dakar campaign.
Optoma Loans Honda Dakar rider Extance is selling his limited edition Paddock shirts for just £37.00 plus VAT and are available from www.optomadakar.com
43 year old Mick is determined for a top 20 finish in the forthcoming rally and continue his reign as the most successful British rider in the annual Dakar rally.
Mick said: "I have been committed to this race for five years; remortgaged my house twice and because of Dakar I haven't spent a New Years Eve with my wife since we were married. It would be great to have people wearing my Official Paddock shirts to raise awareness of my Team's efforts and the excitement of the Rally in general."
Chief Executive of Optoma Loans and Mick's title sponsor, Andrew Seymour said "We are proud to sponsor Mick and as a Company we are passionate about the Dakar and supporting the top British rider."
Mick first took part in the Dakar rally in 2002 and for the last three years was the top British rider in the race, coming 27th in 2006. He is also the first British entrant to complete 4 consecutive Dakar rallies.
