    World Class motorsport action will be rocking the Midlands this Sunday 6th March when the historic and World renowned motocross circuit at Hawkstone Park, Hodnet, Shropshire welcomes the seventh annual Hawkstone Park International Motocross.

    Respected throughout the globe as one of the premier events in motorcycling, the Hawkstone Park International this year will welcome Grand Prix stars from around the globe and thousands of fans eager to witness one of the toughest and most exhilarating sports on the planet.

    The Worlds top riders are jetting in from such far-flung places as the United States, Japan, South Africa and the Baltic's for spectacle, which will feature the incredible talent of eight-times World Motocross Champion, Belgium's Stefan Everts, 16 year old US motorcycle racing sensations Mike and Jeff Alessi, making their first appearance in the UK, as well as a veritable host of top UK and international stars whose names are synonymous with skill, heart and daring.

    One of the brightest hopes for future UK success on the World stage will make his debut in International competition at the event also - and he hails from the Midlands.

    16 year-old Ray Rowson of Shrewsbury was the most successful racer in UK motorcycling in 2004, taking an unprecedented clean sweep of all three national youth motocross titles aboard his 125cc Kawasaki UK machine, and receiving the award for Most Promising Young Rider by the national motorcycling governing body the ACU.

    An extremely talented and determined young rider Ray has not stepped away from this big challenge and looks set to make a stunning entrance onto the international stage with his appearance at Hawkstone Park.

    To mark this great event we would like to invite you to the Press launch where Mike and Jeff Alessi along with Shropshire's Ray Rowson will be demonstrating there awesome skills and speed.

    Freestyle stars Gary Taylor Jamie Squibb and Dave Wiggins who will be entertaining the Hawkstone crowds on Sunday will be demonstrating there unbelievable tricks such as the Superman seat grabs, cliff-hangers, dead bodies, MC Metzs and back flips.

    Hawkstone park is located between Shrewsbury and Whitchurchoff the A49,and within easy reach of the M6 and M54.Signposted A49 Shrewsbury to Whitchurch and A53 Shrewsbury to Market Drayton roads.
