Reigning World Champion Valentino Rossi finished a fighting second in today's Czech Republic Grand Prix after a determined 22-lap race. The Italian had a close battle on his YZR-M1 machine with championship Honda rivals Sete Gibernau and Max Biaggi, ultimately holding on to finish in second - 3.514 seconds behind Gibernau. Rossi's team-mate Carlos Checa also had a tough fight throughout the race to a final sixth place. Read more.....
Dave McKee ended up being the sole Husky Sport representative at round 7 of the British Supermoto championship yesterday in Sunderland. Fellow team mate Jay Smith's bad luck continued after a huge crash in morning practice, which saw him suffer a fractured right foot. Jay attempted to compete in the Open Class races but the pain was too much and he pulled out after lap nine. Read more.....
Michael Rutter has claimed his fourth British Superbike Championship victory of the season aboard the HM Plant Honda Racing CBR1000RR at Croft. His team-mate Ryuichi Kiyonari crossed the line in fourth after relegating Rutter's main adversary for the championship, John Reynolds, into fifth place. Read more.....
